The AGGREGATES HOPPER "BT" is used to store and to proportion aggregates directly into the cement mixer truck or into the mixer. It is created to satisfy requests of companies involved in the production of concrete required by either building or road yards. It is extremely versatile and easy to move, since it can be installed and uninstalled in a very short period of time.
During transport process the elevator belt, driven by means of hydraulic pistons, fits back into the standard overall dimensions by buckling inside the containment hoppers, and it does not need to be dismantled. If the plant is equipped with hydraulic pistons, no crane is necessary to load and unload it by the means of transport. Its size has been reduced to perfectly fit inside flat rack containers for transport by sea or by lorry.
Storage hoppers are provided with ambidextrous upper protections: this is to allow and freely chose how to position the plant in the construction yard, on the basis of available room. They have got an electronic weighing system with deduction load cells, which allows to proportion the discharge deducting the weight from total amount stored. From 1 to 4 storage hoppers can be included; maximum capacity is 12 m3 each.
Output per hour of the plant is set as follows:
100 m³/h: continuous output per hour by means of the elevator band.
50 m³/h : production of concrete. Considering proportioning time (aggregates - cement - water - additives), and time necessary to reload storage hoppers, in one hour it is possible to load 5 cement mixer trucks with capacity of 10 m³ each.
Aggregates are moved inside the cement mixer truck through a belt bucket elevator conveyor made of rubber, which carries the material up to 4,2 m in height. Extraction takes place by means of smooth puller belts.
Aggregates system is managed by one control panel only, which can control fresh water, recycled water and additives systems as well. The electronic terminal has got a keyboard and a display to easily oversee automatic programs.
If AGGREGATES HOPPER "BT" is combined with a silo for concrete, the whole plant can be managed by one single PC station. This argument is better described in "Betonwin2 control system" paragraph.
All plants are varnished by professional companies: each product is exposed to a continuous cycle of sandblasting and high quality spray painting. This particular treatment grants a long life to all of its components.
